The Patek Philippe reference 96 was the very first model launched by Jean and Henri Stern after their acquisition of the Manufacture in 1932. Marking the birth of the Calatrava line, it set the standard for timeless elegance and enjoyed an exceptional production run from 1932 until 1973.

The present example, cased in stainless steel, is particularly rare and highly desirable, as steel versions were produced in far fewer numbers than their precious metal counterparts.
