Produced between 1942 and 1963, the Reference 4062 was made in different metals, including stainless steel, yellow and pink gold as well as some two-tone versions, such as the present lot.
While chronographs are usually associated with sporty designs, this model, with its teardrop lugs, rectangular pushers and coin-edge band would today be considered as a dressier watch. Its 36mm diameter and slim case makes it particularly elegant and enjoyable to wear.
