The Radiomir line is one of Panerai’s most popular and easily identifiable timepieces released by the brand. While the reference Pam 687 truly calls on the design of the original versions of the 1940s, it clearly has modernized it. This is seen with its engraved bezel, sapphire crystal display back, and gradient brown dial. Interestingly enough, the dial color of this version is similar to the color resulting from the dissolving effects of radium that created a brown patina seen on the dials of early versions.
The 47 mm case houses a P. 3000 caliber mechanical movement that features a 3 day power reserve.
The present lot is accompanied with its original suite of accessories.
