Patek Philippe first unveiled the Annual Calendar Reference 5396 in 2006. Requiring just one adjustment per year at the end of February, the 5396 is a prime example of Patek Philippe’s annual calendar complication. Our present lot is crafted in white gold and paired with a beautiful blue sunburst dial accented by white gold applied indices and dauphine hands.
The sapphire crystal case back prominently displays the calibre 324, which was developed as an upgrade to the respected calibre 315, by the engineers at Patek Philippe. The calibre 324 improved its predecessor’s accuracy and consistency and beats at a frequency of 28800 vph with a power reserve of 35-45 hours. Fitted on a five link bracelet, our present timepiece is a wonderfully preserved example of the famous Patek Philippe Annual Calendar.
