This lot truly showcases the best of what IWC offers. Released in 2007, the Aquatimer chronograph wristwatch features a unidirectional inner bezel, adjustable via the 4 o’clock crown, to be used by scuba divers to account for how much oxygen is left in their tank. Situated on a rubber strap, the 43 mm case offers a large feel on the wrist. The size makes for easy legibility to the wearer. The watch also features a day and date window at the 3 o’clock position, serving a more practical purpose when not worn during diving but rather for everyday use.
This lot is a fine example of a classic IWC.
