The first stainless-steel iteration of Patek Philippe’s Annual Calendar Flyback Chronograph, the olive-green ref. 5905/1A-001, officially joined the brand’s catalog in the fall of 2021.
The 5905 series debuted in 2015 as the next-generation evolution of Patek’s popular ref. 5960, introducing subtle refinements such as a larger 42mm case (up from 40.5mm) and a more streamlined dial layout. While the movement and functionality remain consistent between the two references, the 5905 ultimately replaced the 5960 after a brief period of overlapping production in the late 2010s.
The olive-green dial of the steel 5905 is exceptional in person, with a tone that is strikingly similar, if not identical, to the cult-favorite Nautilus ref. 5711/1A-014. That model, also featuring an olive-green dial, marked the finale of the 5711 series and was released just a few months before the steel 5905 made its debut.
We are pleased to present this example complete with its presentation box and Certificate of Origin, and offered in overall excellent condition.
