The present timepiece, featuring a case back and clasp engraved 'A.O.' originates from Mr. Addison Outwater, former president and director of the Royal Southwestern Oil Company of Corpus Christi, Texas. A prominent and astute businessman, Mr. Outwater was integral to the war effort during World War II when he was general manager of War Emergency Tankers, Inc., which controlled the oil and gasoline tanker fIeet for the US Government.
Originally retailed by the prestigious American jeweler Tiffany & Company, our present watch is further distinguished by the coveted double signature of Tiffany & Co. and Patek Philippe on the pink dial.
