The regulator format, with its deconstructed approach to timekeeping, offers a particularly engaging display in this Audemars Piguet example, where the hours, minutes, and seconds each follow their own axis rather than sharing a central pinion. The watch is presented in a bevel-faceted, Art Deco–inspired yellow gold case measuring 36.5 × 25.5 mm, lending it a distinctive and elegant presence on the wrist.
Its white enamel dial features small seconds at six o’clock, an hour register at one o’clock, and centrally mounted minutes. The dial is signed “AP” at twelve, with the full signature within the hour dial, and is accented by painted Breguet numerals at the quarter hours.
The case back bears the Museum Collection engraving, and the model is understood to have been produced in small numbers in the early 2000s.
The current lot comes with its presentation roll, undated certificate of origin and guarantee, notepad and hang tag.
