The Rolex Reference 18238 was introduced in 1988 and is a more contemporary reinterpretation of the classic Rolex Day-Date first introduced in 1956. In production until 2000, the 18238 is distinguished by its double quick-set day-date function thanks to the caliber 3155, and it's kaleidoscope of dial variations including hardstone, lacquer, and mother-of-pearl.
The present Reference 18238 features a rare champagne colored mother-of-pearl dial with an engine turned design, its rarity punctuated by the natural origin of mother-of-pearl giving each dial unique features. We are pleased to present this present 18238 complete with original box and papers in wonderfully preserved and original condition.
