Arguably the most recognizable luxury sports watch in the world, the stainless steel Rolex Submariner has remained a cornerstone of the brand’s identity since its debut in 1953. While the collection has expanded over the decades to include two-tone and solid gold variants, it is the classic stainless steel models with black dial and bezel that continue to be the most sought-after by collectors.
The reference 116610LN, introduced in 2010, marked a major evolution in the Submariner lineage by debuting the Cerachrom ceramic bezel insert on the stainless steel version. This update not only improved the bezel’s resistance to scratches, corrosion, and fading from UV exposure, but also introduced a redesigned assembly for smoother, more precise operation.
Discontinued in 2020, the reference has since become increasingly desirable among collectors. The present example is offered in never-worn condition, with factory stickers intact, offering a fantastic opportunity to acquire a pristine version of this iconic reference.
