Of bombé design, set with cushion-shaped rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, concealing a circular dial, to an articulated bracelet similarly-set, composed of fluted links.

  • Bracelet signed Marchak Paris, numbered, maker's mark.
  • Dial signed Jaegar Le Couture.
  • French assay marks.
  • Inner circumference approximately 160mm.

Renowned for both their Art Deco and Mid Century designs, Marchak's focus on exceptional quality of design and material, led to them being referred to as the 'Cartier of Kiev'. Having enjoyed huge success in Russia, the firm moved to Paris in 1918 where they continued to win awards such as a Grand Prix at the 1925 Paris Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes.
