Cask #843, distilled on 17 July 1937, bottled on 24 October 2001, bottle #51/61, level: middle shoulder, wax capsule slightly scuffed and nicked on its side, original slip on wax capsule slightly peeling, in lockable original presentation case with keys included, metal plate on original presentation case slightly scuffed, packed within the original outer carton, original leaflet included, 44.0 abv
In the same year that King George VI was crowned, barrel 834 was filled with a whisky which would go on to become the most expensive Glenfiddich expression when released in 2016. With only 61 bottles produced, this 64 year old single malt represents the oldest whisky released from the legendary Glenfiddich Distillery.
