Rosamond Bernier (b.10-01-1916-d.11-09-2016), American journalist and legendary Art & Fashion History lecturer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Dubbed by Vogue as 'the world’s most glamorous art lecturer', she delivered her regular 8:00pm classes without notes and in full evening wear. The lectures sold out months in advance and upon delivering her final lecture in 2008, she received a standing ovation.

In her earlier life during the 1940s she moved to France where she became the first European Features Editor at Vogue. Together with her husband she founded L'oeil, an English language, Paris-based art journal.
