Description

circular, the centre formed of a gold five rouble coin featuring the bust of Empress Catherine the Great, on a translucent red enamel ground over hatched engine-turning, the reverse dated 1773, on a gold base framed with a band of rose-cut diamonds divided by cabochon emeralds at intervals, the gold reverse with later added safety chain, in fitted case, struck to pin and clasp with workmaster's initials, 56 standard, two further indistinct marks
