Claude Réné César (1761-1849), Count of Courtarvel-Pézé (as Mignard, Portrait of Madame Anne Mansart; according to an inscribed armorial print affixed to the canvas’s verso);

Thence by descent and inheritance until anonymously sold, Paris, Sotheby's, 23 June 2004, lot 11;

Where acquired by Jordan and Thomas A. Saunders III.
