• A one-of-a-kind opportunity to create a bespoke Blended Scotch Whisky with The Last Drop’s Master Blender, Colin Scott. 

• Hosted at the historic Scone Palace in Scotland - once the crowning place of Scottish kings - the winning bidder will enjoy a private session of guided blending and tasting, using rare and mature whiskies from The Last Drop’s exclusive inventory. 

• The experience includes access to exceptional single malts, grains and aged blends - each aged over 30 years.

• The final whisky will be bottled into 12 x 700ml bottles, presented in bespoke packaging with embossed green leather labels. 

• Each bottle is accompanied by a matching 50ml miniature and custom tasting book, featuring the story of the blend and tasting notes from Colin. 

• The exclusive experience also includes a private tasting of whiskies from The Last Drop archive, a celebratory dinner at Scone Palace as well as two night’s accommodation for two at the palace, including a guided tour of the palace and the private rooms.

Lying with the donor. Duty Paid.

The blending session and bottling must be scheduled and completed within 12 months of the auction date, unless otherwise agreed in writing with The Last Drop Distillers. The Buyer and The Last Drop Distillers will agree a detailed production schedule after the auction. The experience is limited to maximum two guests (the winning bidder and a companion). Any additional guests must be agreed with The Last Drop Distillers in advance and will incur additional costs. The lot does not include travel, transfers, insurance or visas. These are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. All whisky used will be selected at the discretion of The Last Drop Distillers from available stock. The liquid remains with The Last Drop Distillers until completion of the project and transfer to the Buyer. Duty paid. Fixed quantity of 12 bottles. Packaging specifications (bottle, closure, presentation) are set by The Last Drop Distillers and shared with the Buyer. Personalisation is limited to the label and tasting book, with options provided by The Last Drop Distillers, and must comply with Scotch Whisky labelling regulations.

Should you wish to ship, store or bottle your purchases, arrangements will be made directly with the Donor of this lot. Sotheby's will provide an introduction between the relevant buyer and donor in order for this to be arranged.
