Gleann Mòr Rare Find The Age Of Change by Jo Downs

  • Gleann Mòr Rare Find The Age of Change by Jo Downs for Distillers One of One 2025 celebrates 202 Years of the 1823 Excise Act. This exclusive collection features three extraordinary and unique Rare Find whiskies, each representing a pivotal chapter in whisky history (Tasting notes by Charles MacLean):

Miltonduff 43 Year Old 1981 49.3% abv

Once an illicit distillery known as Milton, it became Miltonduff after the Duff family’s acquisition. Licensed in 1824, just one year after the Excise Act, this expression captures the moment Scotch whisky stepped into legality.

This venerable example of Miltonduff retains the distillery’s trademark succulent texture and offers vibrancy combined with incredible depth and complexity.

Littlemill 34 Year Old 1990 53.3% abv

From the now-lost Littlemill distillery in West Dumbartonshire, this bottling honours Jane Macgregor—believed to be one of Scotland’s first female distillers and the first licensee post-Act. A rare tribute to pioneering spirit.

The Age of Change 34 year old offers the perfect balance of liveliness and antiquary – with a combination of dusty earthiness and polish alongside vivacious sweet fruits

Springbank 32 Year Old 1992 46.8% abv

Founded five years after the Act, Springbank epitomizes Campbeltown’s rise as a whisky capital. Revered for its traditional methods, this expression reflects enduring craftsmanship and cult admiration.

This 32 year old Springbank offers the archetypal profile of the distillery’s excellent make – full-bodied, vivid and profoundly characterful.

  • Conceptualized by Gary Doherty (Pocket Rocket Creative) and handcrafted by Jo Downs, the collection celebrates the vital role of wood in whisky maturation.

  • Each bottle is housed in a bespoke oak stave casing, meticulously constructed by Jonny Kane of Gopherwood - an embodiment of tradition and artistry.

3 bottles 70cl (presentation case)
