The artist.

Cory Haber is a New York-based generative artist known for his work at the intersection of technology and traditional art. Blending the digital with the physical, Cory creates work that explores the harmony between computational systems and the organic beauty of the natural world.

Since 2014, Cory has developed a singular artistic process, designing custom plotters and 3D-printed paintbrushes to produce large-scale paintings on canvas. Each piece, whether digital or physical, originates from the same generative code, yet evolves into a unique expression, highlighting the tension and synergy between automation and intuition.

Cory’s work is a reflection of the digital age’s creative potential. By reimagining what tools, mediums, and algorithms can be, he offers viewers an immersive experience that blurs the boundaries between art and code. His practice invites us to rethink the role of the artist in an era shaped by machines, while remaining firmly grounded in the timeless inspiration of the natural world.

This generative series reimagines the timeless motif of sunrise and sunset through the lens of code and color. Each piece is a unique algorithmic composition—layered, textural, and rich with emotional tone. Built with custom generative systems and a painter’s eye, these works evoke the quiet transitions of light across the sky, from the deep indigo of night to the saturated heat of the golden hour.

Rather than depicting specific moments, each output captures the feeling of a sunrise or sunset—its rhythm, its glow, its fleeting presence. The series invites collectors into a meditative experience, where the digital becomes tactile and time becomes color. No two pieces are the same, yet together they form a cohesive exploration of light in motion.
