The artist

Born in Spain in 1993, Harto (Arturo Fernández Rodríguez) seamlessly integrates the natural world, theatrical elements, and digital innovation into his artistic and design practices. Graduating in 2016 in industrial design and prototyping, he laid a strong foundation for a career marked by creativity and technical expertise. Harto is recognized for transcending traditional artistic boundaries, blending urban artistry with avant-garde concepts.

His collaborative approach is evident in his partnerships with esteemed institutions. At the Belvedere Museum, with support from Arties, Vivid Gallery and Harto enhanced the Floraforms collection by incorporating the intellectual property of Gustav Klimt's iconic work, "The Kiss." In collaboration with Ana Maria Caballero and Ancora at the Francisco Carolinum Linz Museum, he played a key role in developing the Arrangements collection visuals.

Through his innovative endeavors and collaborative spirit, Harto continues to push the boundaries of modern art, inspiring both peers and emerging digital artists.

Singularity surges from the search for the intangible, creation, and destruction. An infinite wheel that explores concepts such as infinity, technological singularity, and the role of blockchain in the future of art. The artwork is composed of multiple creative levels and technological complexity, entirely created in code and permanently inscribed on-chain on the main blockchain, Bitcoin.

This digital artwork, developed using p5.js and 3js, features a generative texture that leverages a grid-based layout. Each block within the grid presents a unique pattern and color combination, including stripes, checks, and intricate mosaics. This design highlights the robust capabilities of p5.js in producing dynamic and complex visual compositions, showcasing a seamless interplay between geometry and color. The artwork is inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain through Ordinals, ensuring its permanence and immutability. As it resides fully on-chain, it has no external dependencies, meaning the code and data required to render the artwork are entirely self-contained. This independence guarantees that the piece cannot be edited, deleted, or altered in anyway. By leveraging Bitcoin’s decentralized infrastructure, the artwork becomes an unchangeable and lasting digital artifact, preserving its integrity and ensuring accessibility for as long as the blockchain exists. This approach demonstrates the convergence of generative art and blockchain technology to create timeless, censorship-resistant pieces.
