Few vineyards in the Napa Valley are more steeped in pedigree than Haynes Vineyard. First planted in 1967 and 1968, this idyllic, charismatic site in the middle of a collapsed volcanic caldera is home to the oldest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines in Napa Valley. There’s a palpable natural energy here that seems to transmit itself into the bottle.

Direct from the winery, this is a perfectly cellared horizontal of three rare bottlings of Chardonnay: “Vigneron” comes from young vines planted in 1992, “Forgeron” hails from a north-facing plot of 1967 plantings, and “Corazón” is the top expression from this vineyard. These wines are made in a traditional Burgundian way and will be treasured collectibles for years to come.
