Step into the heart of downtown Napa for an intimate cultural and culinary journey at the Bazán Cellars Tasting Room. Hosted by Gloria Bazán, this one-of-a-kind lunch celebrates the artistry of Napa Valley winemaking and the rich heritage of Oaxaca, Mexico—Mario Bazán’s homeland.
Your experience begins with three traditional Oaxacan mole dishes, each prepared in the classic style using regional spices, chilies and nuts. To highlight the versatility of pairing, each dish is presented alongside two different Mario Bazán wines, for a total of six thoughtfully curated wines. This dual pairing approach enables you to explore how flavors shift, complement and transform in the dialogue between glass and plate.
Guided by Gloria’s warmth and expertise, this lunch tasting transcends a simple meal. It is a celebration of tradition and craft—a conversation between vineyard and kitchen, heritage and hospitality.
