Justine Labbé represents the next generation of leadership in wine. Raised in a small French village where her parents ran a beloved bookshop, she grew up surrounded by stories and ideas - this early influence continues to shape her thoughtful, expressive approach to winemaking. Blending the artistic with the scientific, Justine holds a rare background with dual degrees: an Engineer’s degree in Soil Science and Agronomy from the National Polytechnique of Toulouse, and a Master’s in Winery Management. Having trained at Château Smith Haut Lafitte before taking the helm of Cathiard Vineyard in 2021, she embodies a new generation of female winemakers deeply attuned to the terroir.

About the lot

Your journey begins with a private tour of the Cathiard Vineyard estate, including its caves, cutting-edge winemaking facilities, and the rare on-site cooperage where barrels are crafted with the same precision and passion poured into every vintage. The experience continues with a scenic ride in an open-air safari vehicle along the vineyard’s rugged hillside backroads, offering breathtaking views and an intimate glimpse into the land that shapes these elegant wines.
