Kabuto [helmet]:
the iron sixty-two plate bowl, terminating in a five-stage copper-gilt tehen kanamono, the peak and large turnbacks applied in stenciled Dutch leather, applied with two butterfly mon, engraved and patinated silver fukurin [ornamental border], five-tiered neck guard applied in wrinkled leather, with close-spaced lacing in yellow braid, black and red lacquered and gilt softwood maedate [forecrest] in the form of a shikami [god of death]
Mempo [mask]:
the russet iron mempo engraved with yasurime file markings, detachable nose-plate, yak hair moustache, red lacquer interior, three tiered yodaregake
Do [cuirass]:
the leather mounted cuirass with silver fukurin, stenciled Dutch leather edging, copper-gilt fittings, black lacquer interior, seven tassets of five-tiered kusasuri
Koto, sode [sleeves]:
the hyotan gote applied in black lacquer and chainmail, silk brocade lining of later date, five tiered shoulder guards
Suneate, haidate [Shin guards, thigh protectors]:
black lacquer shino suneate and haidate of typical form
Accessories:
softwood and gilt sashimono [banner] in the form of three slender leaves of the barin [iris], armour storage box
