Description

comprising 2 sections, the base of bell-form with waisted sides, flattened shoulder and short cylindrical neck terminating in a waisted socket, engraved and inlaid with 3 large roundels with a polo player, a falconer, and an archer on horseback, divided by rosettes and geometric roundels on a ground of arabesques, the shoulder similarly arranged with 3 roundels enclosing double-headed eagles, the neck and mouth with inscriptions in Kufic and naskh, the upper section later added, comprising a tapering shaft with ribbed boss, and a globular cup-shaped socket, engraved and inlaid with geometric and arabesque motifs
