partially enamelled copper, with traces of gilding, in a red velvet lined ebonised wood frame

Corpus: 17 by 13cm., 6 5/8 by 5 1/8 in.

frame: 30 by 26cm., 11¾ by 10¼in.


with four labels inscribed respectively with variations of: Bxl / Abbé Ducarme / Mons /1; another inscribed: Collection de / l'Abbé Joseph DUCARME / curé de Ste Elisabeth / 1 rue de la Biche / Mons; and a detailed catalogue entry titled: Christ roman and inscribed: Enghien Exposition 1964, all to the reverse of the frame
