Kenichiro Tomiyasu

Kenichiro Tomiyasu is an artist known for his concept art work on many video games and anime movies, including Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, Biohazard (Resident Evil), Captain Harlock, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. 

The present lot includes a message from Tomiyasu written behind the canvas which reads as follows:

"The theme of this painting is to search for light in the darkness. What the wildfire in LA has taken from us is immeasurable. But we will rise up! We can regain the light again. I hope that my artwork will add some power to that initiative. I don’t think art can change the world so easily.
