12 x 14.5 in (image: 8 x 10. 5 in). Illustration of Snoopy in alcohol marker on white paper, 1969. Speech bubble above Snoopy reads “HERE’S TO THE WORLD FAMOUS REPORTER GOING TO THE FRONT PAGE BALL.” Reproduction size “55%” noted in right margin in blue ink.
Signed “Schulz ” in alcohol marker at lower right corner.
The present lot was gifted to the current donor by Paul Dean—Dean received this illustration following it's appearance in June 8, 1969 issue of the Arizona Republic in which Schulz's original illustration accompanied an article by Dean.
