This sculpture was originally catalogued in the Dorothy Bennett Collection as being by Benedict Palmeiua Munkara. However, it bears no stylistic resemblance to any known sculptures by Munkara, and is by the same hand as two sculptures in the Lance Bennett Collection, recorded as being created by Jimmy Kerinaiua.
