the upper section with one short drawer above door glazed doors opening to a storage compartment, and one frieze drawer, the lower section with a drawer opening to a fitted arrangement of pigeon holes above a further drawer sliding out to reveal storage compartments flanking a hinged flap opening to another compartment, the reverse of the flap can be lifted and used as a book ledge, on two legs headed by swans, the back of the lower half painted with a winged putto next to a recumbent female figure
