each signed and inscribed with the location and the artist's address on the verso

Following the tradition inaugurated by his father, renowned vedutista Francesco Guardi, Giacomo produced some numbers these fresh and delightful gouaches, invariably signed and inscribed with locations and his address on the verso, which must have been the perfect memento for the international clientèle of Grand Tourists to bring home as souvenirs.
