The arms are those of Bagot of Bleithfield, Co. Stafford, impaling Fitzroy, for William 2nd Baron Bagot, L.L.D., F.S.A., F.L.S, F.I.S, F.H.S, (b. 1773), and his 1st wife Hon. Emily Fitzroy, 4th daughter of Charles, 1st Lord Southampton, married in 1799. She died in 1800, and he then married secondly in 1807 Lady Louisa Legge, eldest daughter of George, 3rd Earl of Dartmouth.
