Nico Rosberg made his Formula 1 debut for Williams Cosworth on March 12, 2006 at the Bahrain Grand Prix and immediately stood out as a driver to watch. He set the fastest lap and came in 7th, demonstrating his stellar racing ability. 

In 2010, Rosberg signed with Mercedes and joined all-time great Michael Schumacher. Rosberg notched his first Formula 1 win in 2012, winning from pole position at the Chinese Grand Prix.

From 2013-2016, Rosberg was joined at Mercedes by former kart racing teammate Lewis Hamilton, and the former friends became legendary rivals during this period. In their final season together, Rosberg broke through and became the 2016 Formula 1 World Champion, retiring only five days later.

Rosberg finished his career with 23 race wins and 57 podium finishes out of 206 career starts.
