Description

in the form of male and female children, as personifications of Summer and Autumn, riding on dolphins, on triform bases, cast and chased with fleshy drapery, fantastical masks and lobate scrolls, surmounted by detachable nozzles and drip-pans decorated in the same manner, the bases engraved with contemporary initials CvAS, marked on bases, also with 1795 Amsterdam tax, and 1806-10 control marks for the Kingdom of Holland.
