Engraved title vignette, engraved arms on dedication, 6 engraved maps (5 folding) and 9 plates; scattered light soiling, marginal repair to A4, a few neat repairs to folding maps and plates, one folding map heavily resorted, figures on one plate censored by an early hand. Stiff contemporary vellum, manuscript title to spine; rebacked retaining a portion of the original spine, recased with renewed endpapers, somewhat stained and worn.

A scarce work, containing accounts of the four voyages around the world by Magellan, Drake, Cavendish, and Van Noort.
