the russet iron bowl with raised ridges, terminating in a three-stage tehen kanamono, the peak and turnbacks lined in leather with applied gilt cherry blossom mon [crest], engraved silver fukurin, the black lacquer neck guard with spaced lacing in dark blue braid, leather and linen interior lining
