Title-page printed in red and blue with wood-engraved holly vignette, half-title printed in blue, handcolored etched frontispiece and three handcolored plates after John Leech, four wood-engraved text illustrations after Leech by W. J. Linton, integral leaf of publisher’s ads at end. Publisher’s cinnamon-brown rib-grain cloth, covers blocked in blind with decorative holly and ivy border, front cover and spine gilt including author and title within a holly wreath, yellow-coated endpapers, all edges gilt; spine very slightly faded, corners a bit rubbed and ever so slightly bumped. House in green morocco pull-off case.
