Comprising: a bracelet, each brushed gold link millegrain-set with a marquise-shaped cabochon opal, length approximately 160mm, inscribed 29.Okt. 1911., fitted case stamped Zinser Stuttgart; and a tie pin set with a cabochon opal, partial Austrian maker's mark.

The gold and opal bracelet was given by Robert, Duke of Württemberg (1873-1947) to his wife Archduchess Maria Immaculata of Austria-Tuscany, Duchess of Württemberg (1878-1968) on the occasion of their eleventh wedding anniversary on 29 October 1911. As opal is the birthstone of October, the couple often exchanged wedding anniversary gifts featuring the stone throughout their 47 year-long marriage. Robert, Duke of Württemberg for instance owned this opal tie pin.
