Press Photos 10in x 8in (25.2cm x 20.5cm) each
Provenance
The autographs for the book and photographs were obtained at London's Finsbury Park Astoria on the 1st November 1964.
The father of the girl's friend was Police Superintendent in charge of Finsbury Park, who arranged a backstage meeting for them both with the Beatles.
The press photographs were originally obtained by the girl's father who worked at the Catholic Film Institute in London.
According to the accompanying note concerning the provenance, John Lennon questioned how the girls had found press photographs from 'A Hard Day's Night', and complained about the printer's error in the first edition of 'In His Own Write' - even circling the error. George Harrison also commented that he wasn't in either of the press photographs.
