Octavio Piccolomini was an Italian nobleman who served as a Spanish general and field marshal of the Holy Roman Empire during the Thirty Years' War. His portrait - painted by Justus Sustermans (1597–1681) - was previously attributed to Frans Luyckx and is now in the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.1 An engraving of Piccolomini by Jonas Suyderhoef appears to have been produced c. 1650–56 after a portrait by Luyckx.2
