Description
The body embossed and chased with winged putto masks amongst fruit and scrollwork, the cover with a putto finial holding a wreath and shield engraved with a coat-of-arms.

Before 1939 in the collection of the present owners’ family at their residence in Munich;
Georg Weigang (1904-1978) collection, Berlin Grünewald;
thence by descent to the present owners.
The cup can be seen on the right hand side of a photo taken in the 1960s at the house of Georg Weigang.
