Haut-Katanga, Democratic Republic of the Congo
14 x 8 x 4½ inches (48.3 x 20.3 x 11.4 cm), 18½ inches (47 cm) tall on affixed base. 28 pounds (12.7 kg).
This large and polished malachite specimen exists in a botryoidal habit, its crystals resembling small clusters of grapes. This sizable copper-based mineral shows vibrant colors from light to dark green and is affixed to a handsome, aged golden metal base.
