Billy Restey is an abstract digital artist—specializing in 3D, ai, and generative art. After decades in the commercial industry, Billy has turned his attention to self-expression—leveraging technology and code to tell his story. 

Using latest techniques in recursion and sat endpoints within Ordinals, this piece explores the concept of mutable immutability––while paying homage to the ord protocol by Casey Rodarmor. Semipermanent updates every 10 minutes using Bitcoin's block height––creating a stasis of both permanence and impermanence. Billy Restey found the balance of the algorithm cemented in time while the artwork changes mesmerizing and stimulating as it relies on one of the key aspects of Bitcoin's innovation from 2009––blockchain technology.
