inscribed A. Giacometti, numbered 5/8 and with the foundry mark Susse Fondeur Paris; stamped with the foundry mark SUSSE FONDEUR PARIS CIRE PERDUE (on the interior)

height: 49.2 cm. 19⅜ in.
Conceived circa 1951-52; this example cast in bronze by Susse Fondeur, Paris in 1980. This work is number 5 from an edition of 8 plus one 0 cast and one Fondation Maeght cast.
The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by the Comité Giacometti and it is recorded in the Alberto Giacometti database as AGD 4631.
