Another example of this same piece will be exhibited in Japan from July 2024 until June next year as part of a travelling retrospective exhibition: ‘Folon. Agent of an imaginary Journey’. It will be shown successively in Tokyo at the Tokyo Station Gallery, in Nagoya at the Nagoya City Art Museum and in Osaka at the Abeno Harukas Art Museum. Three publications will also accompany this major exhibition.
This retrospective will highligt the humanitarian and environmental battles that have marked Jean-Michel Folon's work, alongside the major ecological and human issues of our time.
