A beautifully cast lifetime bronze by the artist. A similar cast was sold in the Collection Fabius Frères, Sotheby's, Paris, 26-27 October 2011, lot 280 (formerly collection Martin Zedé, grandson of Emile Martin, Barye's business associate; also stamped 025 but with different ink numbering to the underside).
