Genoese Follower of Sir Anthony van Dyck

Although executed by an as-yet unidentified artist, this work bears certain stylistic affinities with paintings by Sir Anthony van Dyck. In particular, the composition, as much as the handling, evokes Van Dyck's large-scale religious works from his Genoese period.
