Beth and David invite you to celebrate the rich wine history and long-lasting, meaningful connection between the Novak and Duncan families through a three-day visit to Napa Valley!

This deep friendship started in 1949, when Ray Duncan and Jack Novak met at Notre Dame. Their relationship carried forward through their respective marriages and families and ultimately in some shared vineyard ownership in Napa Valley and Alexander Valley, affectionately known as “Los Amigos.” In 1972, the same year that the Novak family purchased Spottswoode in St. Helena, the Duncan family co-founded Silver Oak Cellars. The deep connection forged so many decades ago continues among the current generation.

Beth Novak and David Duncan look forward to welcoming two couples to join them for a quintessential, intimate insider experience here in Napa Valley. You will stay at the luxurious Solage Resort & Spa in Calistoga, which is part of the Auberge Collection. Our opening night will be a delicious dinner at the historic, private Spottswoode Estate, prepared by Chef Elliot Bell of Charlie’s in St. Helena and personally hosted by Beth, David and Kary Duncan.

Your time here will also include an immersive tour, tasting and lunch at Spottswoode Estate Vineyard & Winery, hosted by Beth Novak and the winegrowing team as they showcase their organic, biodynamic and regenerative farming practices, as well a 10-year vertical tasting at Silver Oak and a personal vineyard tour and tasting with David Duncan at Ovid. Napa Valley. To top it off, enjoy a tour and tasting at Hourglass with vintner friends, Jeff Smith and Carolyn Duryea.
