The Audemars Piguet reference 14988 nicknamed 'Disco Volante' was launched in 1996 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ultra flat manual winding caliber 2003. The beautiful decorated movement can be admired through the crystal case back.
The pink gold case of the current watch is in nearly unworn condition bearing the no. 50/50, indicating that is is the last watch of a limited edition of 50, which makes it very attractive for any collector. Please note that we are also offering its 'twin watch': lot 229 of this auction is the yellow gold version of this reference bearing the number 1/50.
