Reference 116519 was launched at the 2000 Baselworld, equipped with the new self-winding chronograph movement – caliber 4130 – entirely designed and manufactured in-house. Incorporating innovative and patented technical solutions, this high-performance movement set a new standard for luxury self-winding chronographs in terms of robustness, reliability, efficiency and precision, as well as ease of maintenance.
This present lot dates to circa 2008 and features an extremely rare mother-of-pearl dial with meteorite sub-dials and diamond indices. Thanks to naturally occurring patterns of both the mother-of-pearl dial and the meteorite sub-dials, no two dials will ever look exactly the same and therefore they render each watch unique in a way.
