The Rolex Submariner reference 16610LV, affectionately nicknamed 'Kermit,' is a watch that needs no introduction and stands as one of the most beloved and collectible neo-vintage Rolexes.
The reason behind this collectability amongst connoisseurs is partly because of the many variations found within the reference. The present example belongs to the 16610T sub-reference, correctly indicating that the watch does not feature drilled lugs. It also comes fitted with an engraved rehaut, something only later production units possessed and matches the later Mk. V dial.
Together with the faded bezel, this Kermit certainly does not lack vintage charm, while retaining the quality and performance of a modern Rolex. Rounded off with a full set of accessories, this lot makes for a perfect neo-vintage buy.
